There was no shortage of contact at the stock car meeting at the Cowdenbeath Racewall on Saturday night, with the saloon drivers especially in good form.
In their second heat, there was contact galore, with Kyle Hegg being sent around on the top bend. During the final there was a spate of contact which resulted in Stuart Shevill Jnr failing to finish the race.
In the formula IIs, Craig Wallace won the white/yellow challenge race whilst Marc Fortune debuted his new Elite chassis and must have been pleased with his initial outing. Garry Sime had to change a clutch just before the start of the meeting and just made the first heat with minutes to spare. In the minis, the drivers were in good form and weren’t shy at using their bumpers. There were big shunts during the opening and third heats.
