Classic bikes to race at East Fortune

East Fortune racing circuit near Haddington will once again hear the nostalgic roar of a bygone era, together with the crackles, booms, rasping triples and ding dinging two-strokes, mixed with the nostalgic sweet smell of Castrol R, as the Bob McIntyre Memorial Classic race meeting takes place this weekend – June 11-12 – at an event which feels as close as possible to the era in which Bob raced.

The Classic enthusiasts will know that Bob McIntyre raced locally many years ago and he was the first motorcycle racer to break the 100mph lap record at the Isle of Man TT in 1957 on his Gilera Four machine.
