Lasswade-based City of Edinburgh Trampoline Club (CETC) recently travelled to Portugal for their first international competition.

Competing in the Loule Cup, they were up against gymnasts from 24 different countries including gymnasts who had taken part in the 2012 London Olympics.

CETC had 10 gymnasts there, including Jenny Anton from Lasswade (pictured in front row third from left) and Molly Short from Bonnyrigg (front row second from right).

Molly, who attends Lasswade High, took fourth place in the U13 Female final.

In the Junior Female DMT category, Caitlin O’Brien and Ciara Donlevy made the final for CETC with Caitlin from Edinburgh taking the silver medal.

In the team events, CETC “A” Team took home the bronze medal with Canada in second and Portugal first.

CETC are currently recruiting new members, and are also looking to start a ‘boys only’ session.
