Two Midlothian showjumpers jumped to glory at the recent National Amateur Second Round at the Cabin Equestrian Centre in Inverurie.
Louisa Timmins (30), from Lasswade, riding her own 15 year-old bay mare Spindra Z took the victory in the 1.10m Dodson and Horrell National Amateur second round event in Aberdeenshire on September 21.
And Louisa wasn’t the only local showjumper to taste victory on the day.
Ailsa Noble (18), from Penicuik, took victory on her own 12 year-old bay gelding Harvey IX in the 0.95cm Dodson and Horrell National Amateur second round event.
Louisa and Alisa’s success up north means they have now qualified for the Dodson and Horrell National Amateur Championships, which take place at Aintree Equestrian Centre in Liverpool November 19-23.
