Carnethy Hill Running Club has paid tribute to one of their founding members who passed away recently.

Dr John A Blair-Fish died suddenly aged 62, whilst out cycling with club mates on September 4 near West Linton.

Dr Blair-Fish was a long-time member of the Fell Runners Association and served in a number of roles, including editor of the Fellrunner, over a period of twenty years.

A statement on Carnethy Hill Running Club’s website said: “He will be sadly missed and our thoughts go out to his family and friends.”
