Rugby stars are class act in Penicuik

EDINBURGH Rugby players returned to school recently to kick-start a new sporting scheme.

Qualified PE teacher and Edinburgh Rugby hooker Steven Lawrie was joined by Sep Visser and Dougie Fife to visit Beeslack Community High School, Penicuik, with one of sport’s most venerable trophies – the Heineken Cup.

Edinburgh Rugby face a quarter-final clash against four-times champions Toulouse at Murrayfield next month.

Steven said:“The Heineken Cup trophy tour is our way of thanking clubs and schools for their record-breaking support which has been incredible throughout our journey to the last eight.”
