Snooker: TV test for Bonnyrigg’s Michael Leslie

Rising snooker star Michael Leslie is hoping to disappoint a multitude of Chinese television viewers this Saturday when he takes on world number 10, Ding Junhui.

The first round match in Event Five of the Betfair European Tour will be the Bonnyrigg lad’s first professional outing on home soil.

Running from Friday to Sunday at the 600-seater Ravenscraig Sports Facility, the event will be televised by Eurosport, with the winner pocketing £10,000 from a total prize fund of £50,000.
