Whitehill Welfare 5

Easthouses Lily 2

Whitehill welcomed local rivals Easthouses for the second Saturday in succession for an Image Printers Cup tie.

Both teams had made changes and within seven minutes Easthouses took the lead after a corner was not cleared properly.

Young was on the end of the resultant cross to slot home.

The match was being played at a furious pace. With 20 minutes on the clock, Thom took a quick throw to Sinclair, who flicked the ball into the path of Whitehill striker Wayne McIntosh, who fired in the equaliser.

Easthouses had the chance to regain the lead after the referee gave a penalty for a challenge in the box. The spot kick was blasted high over the bar.
