A testimonial football match is to be held in honour of ‘Sir’ Peter McGauley, who has spent 50 years serving Whitehill Welfare FC.

To mark this amazing record, stretching back to 1962, the club is organising a game between the ‘Legends’ of 1996, when Whitehill famously met Celtic in the Scottish Cup, and some of the current crop of U-21 players.

The match at Ferguson Park will kick-off at 1pm on Sunday.
