This Saturday, community-run cinema group Moorflix present two films for you to get lost in at Temple Village Hall.

At 5.30pm ‘Captain Phillips’ (Cert 12A), starring Tom Hanks, is the true nail-biting story of Captain Richard Phillips and the 2009 hijacking by Somali pirates of his American cargo ship (the first to be hijacked in 200 years).

Before the next showing you will be treated to a pie/ pastie/ pizza break.

Then at 8.30pm Moorflix presents ‘Gravity’ (Cert 12A). On a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving two astronauts completely alone - tethered to nothing but each other and spiralling out into the blackness. Starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney.

Free entry but donations very much appreciated. More info at www.moorflix.org.uk
