On Saturday, November 23, medieval instrumentalist Jim Tribble will let visitors hear the sounds and discover more about he fascinating instruments which would have been played at the time when the Chapel was built.

The insight into music’s history will take place from 11am to 4pm and there will be no extra charge for the chapel’s paying visitors and pass holders. This event is part of ‘Previously....’, Scotland’s History Festival.

Finally, a candle lit tour will brighten up the evening on Friday, November 29, when a costumed character guide shares some of the history, myths and legends of the chapel. This will be followed by refreshments in the visitor centre.

Tickets are £10 for adults/£7 for concessions (includes refreshments) and can be booked by contacting or calling 0131 440 2159.
