Teachers head to Newbattle High

Local teachers at Newbattle High for Commonwealth Class, a British Council and Commonwealth Secretariat alliance to bring the Commonwealth values to schools to learn together about how to be active, responsible global citizens as part of the Commonwealth family. This is all in preparation for Glasgow 2014. The objective is to get as many Midlothian schools involved .

Newbattle High School recently welcomed local teachers for Commonwealth Class, a British Council and Commonwealth Secretariat alliance to bring the Commonwealth values to schools to learn together about how to be active, responsible global citizens as part of the Commonwealth family. All schools can sign up to Commonwealth Class for resources, online debates and interactive activities to support lesson planning and teaching across the curriculum.
