ENTERTAINER Keith Jack is looking forward to a Christmas at home in Midlothian after a busy year.
The 22-year-old from Woodburn is visiting family as he takes a well-earned rest from performing in Joseph and the Amazing Techinicolor Dreamcoat, which has seen him tour the UK since July.
Keith told the Advertiser: “I’ve got three weeks off. In these next few weeks over Christmas it will be nice to come home and see my family for longer than a day.
“At the moment I am kind of based in a suitcase and in my car because I’m on tour.”
Keith shot to fame in 2007 when he narrowly lost out to Lee Mead in a battle for the role of Joseph on TV reality show, Any Dream Will Do. Despite being arguably the show’s strongest singer, the judges believed he looked too young to play Joseph.
The dream finally came true for Keith in July and last month the Dalkeith singer stepped out on to the Edinburgh Playhouse stage in the title role of Joseph.
