My Light Shines On: Edinburgh's stunning light installation in pictures

The Edinburgh International Festival’s installation is named after a Primal Scream lyric.

The Edinburgh International Festival has had the city enthralled as it’s light installation, My Light Shines On, brightens the night sky.

Originally called The Ghost Lights, the lights mark the places, shows and performances that will no longer happen in the city.

Though many performances will move online to create the virtual festival, Scotland’s Capital hasn’t seen it’s streets this empty in August in decades.

Here are some pictures of the breath taking art work.
