Harvey Nichols: Edinburgh store unveils new window scheme

Harvey Nichols has unveiled its new Spring Summer 2021 Natural World-inspired windows in its Edinburgh store which hope to present the escapism nature can offer during the pandemic.

Each of the windows in St Andrew Square features a sculptural Earth-shaped sphere, representing an aspect of the natural world – from a flock of freed birds to an autumnal tree of life or watery seascape.

Harvey Nichols, which is currently closed but operating via their virtual store, has said the “Natural World’ scheme hopes to act as a means of escape and relaxation during lockdown.

Audrey Feeney, Head of Display for Harvey Nichols Edinburgh said: “This season, we are celebrating the beauty of nature, whilst also bringing an art-inspired installation to St Andrew Square, with each of the displays highlighting one element of the natural world.

“More than ever, we are appreciating the beauty of our surroundings and we hope to recreate a little of that in our windows, with our trademark Harvey Nichols twist.”
