McDonald’s is set to reopen several more stores across the Lothians at 11am this morning.

It comes after the country entered “Phase One” of its lockdown easing strategy on Friday, allowing restaurants to reopen under certain conditions.

In line with the new restrictions, the US-based company will only operate the drive-thru sections of its restaurants, allowing customers and staff to maintain appropriate social distancing.

Customers will only be able to order from a limited menu, and spend a maximum of £25 at a time.

Here are some of the stores opening up in the region today:

London Road - EH7 6AA, Cameron Toll - EH16 5BP, Seafield Road - EH6 7LJ, Telford Road - EH4 2NF, Gorgie Road - EH11 2QL, Asda Edinburgh - EH14 1JR, Kinnaird Park - EH15 3RD, Corstorphine - EH12 8HW, Straiton - EH20 9PW, and Dalkeith - EH22 3FU.
