Edinburgh's oldest Farmers' Market will continue to trade every Saturday throughout latest lockdown
The market, on Castle Terrace, runs every Saturday from 9am to 2pm and is due to celebrate its 20th anniversary this year after opening originally in 2001.
It is predominantly a primary producer market, made up of stalls selling food produced by the stallholders themselves.

In light of further restrictions announced by the First Minister on Wednesday, January, 13, the committee met via zoom to discuss how to go forward.
Chair of the Cooperative and Scottish Slow Food Person of the Year, Dawn Dark, said: "The market provides a safe place for local people to shop for high quality, trustworthy and locally produced food."
New safety measures in place as restrictions tighten include hand sanitiser at entrances, exits and on stalls, as well as careful management of the number of people allowed into the market at any one time.

The market was awarded the Slow Food Market of the Year 2020 by Scotland Slow Food for the third year running, and its stallholders won awards including Best Butcher, Best Greengrocer, Best Restaurant and Slow Food Person of the Year at the Slow Food Awards.
