Four charging bays for EVs including a rapid charger, have been installed at the Peel L&P Retail Park site.

The Tritium Veefil 50kW rapid charger will typically charge an EV to 80 per cent in 35 minutes, helping drivers add up to 100 miles of range. The three Alfen Eve Single 7kW chargers will recharge a compatible EV with a 40kWh battery in four to six hours.

Julian Wilkinson, director of Peel L&P Retail Parks said: “We’re pleased to bring charging points to The Terrace to time perfectly with the project reaching completion and for our customers to use whilst they shop.”
