Work begins on £4.5m makeover of Edinburgh business park

Investor and property developer CEG is leading a £4.5 million refurbishment of the Haston building at Edinburgh’s South Gyle Business Park.

The group is currently on site delivering a full window replacement and exterior decorations, with an overhaul of the office interiors set to follow.

Haston House will include offices, common and reception areas equipped with changing rooms, secure bike storage and an onsite coffee servery.

The refurbishment is due to complete in autumn 2020.

CEG investment manager Grace Lewis said: “Our comprehensive refurbishment of Haston House will create flexible, contemporary workspace. With a focus on wellness, we have created a new benchmark for out-of-town offices.”

Agents appointed to let the new space include Savills and Eyco.

South Gyle Business Park is currently home to BT, Fujitsu, Sainsburys, HSBC and RBS. Facilities include Gyle Shopping Centre boasting retailers such as Marks and Spencer, cafes, restaurants, a nursery, gym and hotel.
