Much-needed donations include rabbit pills, snake bedding and rodent shampoo.

Lynn Bell, CEO of LOVE Learning, the social care and educational charity that is running LOVE Gorgie Farm said: “We are diligently following the Government’s advice regarding the coronavirus outbreak to ensure the safety of visitors, staff and animals.

“No matter what the next advice is on whether the farm should stay open to the public or not, our team will still need to work hard to maintain the farm and take care of our animals so that we can reopen once we go back to normality. And we need help and supplies to support their work.

“We have set up an Amazon shopping list so anyone who wishes to make a contribution, no matter how little, can help us keep the farm going from the safety of their homes.
