Coronavirus in Scotland: 112 new cases in the Lothians as the country records 31 new deaths in the last 24 hours
The First Minister announced today that 31 more people have died in the last 24 hours in Scotland while 112 more people tested positive for the virus in the Lothians.
In total, 1,072 new cases were reported across the country.
Of the new cases 112 were in NHS Lothian, 460 were in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde health board area, 210 in NHS Lanarkshire and 75 were in Ayrshire and Arran.

Hide AdThe First Minister confirmed that 1,237 people are in hospital with the virus, a decrease of 15 from the figure reported yesterday.
98 people are in intensive care, which is an increase of three people from yesterday.
In total, Scotland has recorded 70,732 positive cases since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
The death toll currently is 2,997.
