Coronavirus in Scotland: 36 new Covid-19 deaths brings toll to 1,847

36 people in Scotland have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to data released by the Scottish Government.

It brings the total number of deaths from the virus in Scotland to 1,847.

Today’s figures also reveal that across NHS labs in Scotland, 71,092 people have been tested.

The number of people who have tested positive has now reached 13,305.

1,165 people were in hospital receiving treatment, including 93 patients in intensive care with confirmed or suspected coronavirus.

An additional 420 people are being treated in hospital who are suspected to have the disease.

Tayside - 44

Eileanan Siar (Western Isles) - Fewer than 5

Golden Jubilee National Hospital - Fewer than 5
