HERO medics got a tasty treat for all their efforts during the coronavirus outbreak - with a free fast food delivery.

Hard-working front-line staff at Livingston's St John's Hospital were sent a complimentary meal by their local Nando's.

Photos emerged of the grateful staff - still in scrubs - tucking in with beaming smiles.

"Thanks so much to Nandos UK for kindly providing the staff in the ED with food today," tweeted the St Johns Hospital Emergency Department account.

"Wonderful to see so many companies stepping up to support us in these challenging times."
