Coronavirus in Scotland: Nine further deaths brings Scottish Government total to 2,362

Nine people in Scotland have died from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to data released by the Scottish Government.

This brings the total number of deaths from Covid-19 in Scotland to 2,362.

Latest figures also reveal that 15,400 people have tested positive for Covid-19 - an increase of 18 from yesterday.

1,073 people were in hospital last night with either a confirmed or suspected case of Covid-19 - a decrease of 41 overall.

There were 20 confirmed cases in intensive care, with a further seven people with suspected Covid-19 also in intensive care.

3,688 people have now been discharged from hospital after receiving treatment for the virus since 5 March.
