Pollyanna McIntosh calls on her fellow cast members from The Walking Dead to help with Covid-19 fundraiser

Edinburgh-raised actress Pollyanna McIntosh is backing a new fundraiser for brave doctors fighting the spread of coronavirus around the world.

McIntosh, who plays Jadis/Anne in The Walking Dead, is helping raise money for Doctors Without Borders and its Covid-19 Crisis Fund - and she’s called on her fellow cast members from the hit zombie show to help.

For a $5 or more donation to Doctors Without Borders, you can win a ten minute Zoom call with a member of The Walking Dead cast of your choice.

The 41-year-old actress, who also appeared alongside James McAvoy in the big-screen adaptation of Irvine Welsh's Filth, said: "It's a fundraiser for a great cause, with great opportunities for fans of the Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead cast members who are participating in raising money for this great cause include Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lennie James, Samantha Morgan, Khary Payton, Tom Payne, Cooper Andrews, Emily Kinney, Dan Fogler, Lauren Ridloff, Avi Nash, Michael Cudlitz, Cassady McClincy, Eleanor Matsuura - and McIntosh herself.

The winner will be announced on May 15.
