Venchie project to provide meals for kids home from school in Craigmillar

A community group in Edinburgh is working hard to support locals through the Covid-19 pandemic.The Venchie Children and Young People’s Project, based in Craigmiller, will launch a new service from Monday offering cooked food to those in the area who need it, especially in light of school closures.The Venchie ordinarily offers a range of services focused on children and young people in the Niddrie area, including a breakfast club, after school club, drama club and day trips, as well as food available for those who need it.
