Visit Santa and help Sick Kids appeal

Don’t miss your chance to meet Santa in his grotto tomorrow as part of the Evening News Christmas appeal.

We’ve teamed up with Lothian Buses and Jenners to give you the chance to meet the man himself as he tours the city, stopping off at key locations, as well as community centres and nurseries – all in aid of the Sick Kids Friends Foundation.

Tomorrow he’ll be greeting families on Princes Street, between Frederick Street and the Mound, from 12pm until 4pm.

He will then make his way to Murrayburn School, on Monday, 19 December, from 1.15pm - 2.15pm, and on Tuesday he’ll be at Wester Hailes Education Centre from 11.30am - 12.30pm.

Every child who meets Santa will receive a small gift, while their parents will be invited to make a donation. All money raised will go towards new equipment for Sick Kids and Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion.

You can also donate presents for children who will be in hospital over Christmas, with unwrapped gifts for babies and teenagers most needed. Financial donations can be made at the travelling grotto.
