Edinburgh barbershop brings the UK's first beer spa treatment to the Capital - for one day only
Beer spas have been popular in continental Europe for centuries, with the liquid being said to have healing qualities that leads to people bathing in beer pools to make their skin glow, but this weekend an Edinburgh barber will offer the UK’s first ‘beer spa treatment’.
Ruffians have partnered with Belgian beer brand Heverlee to provide a luxury spa treatment incorporating the lager for one day only.

Hide AdThe liquid has vast dermatological benefits when applied to skin, including reducing skin irritations, balancing pH levels, dissolving dead skin cells, clearing pores and increasing elasticity.
Paul Keenan, Manager at Ruffians said: “Our hope is that customers leave our shop every day feeling revitalised and ready to boss it – and with this special beer treatment, we’re providing that in a really unique way.
“We pride ourselves on staying ahead of the curve on grooming trends, and we’re looking forward to introducing this experience to our clients.”
