Nepalese food fans are in luck as award winning eatery The Khukuri has reopened for delivery and takeaway.

After closing its doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the restaurant announced earlier this month that they would reopen to serve up delicious dishes to enjoy at home.

For those working in the NHS and emergency services, the restaurant are cutting the bill in half.

The menu includes Nepalese classics such as a rich and creamy chicken nauni masala and hot chilli garlic curry. They are also offering Indian classic curries and accompaniments which can all be washed down with a Khukuri Beer.

Last week, due to popular demand they added an additional day to the takeaway and delivery service. Food lovers can now order Khukuri takeaway from Wednesday to Sunday, 5:30pm until 9:30pm.

The restaurant has been in Haymarket since 1997 and is extremely popular with locals and tourists. They were awarded Best Nepalese Restaurant in Scotland in 2018 and Most Wanted Nepalese Restaurant in Edinburgh in 2019.
