The restaurant itself has opted to remain open for lunch and dinner, but the delivery and collection service is a new decision made available to the public in light of the ongoing outbreak.

Free delivery is offered to those within a one mile radius of the restaurant - deliveries outside this distance will be charged a £2.40 fee.

Paul Wedgwood said: “Like others in the restaurant and hospitality industry, we’re experiencing an unnerving future at the moment. We’ve built up the restaurant's reputation for the very best flavours and skilled cooking using ingredients with integrity.

“It will be a first for us, but we are starting to offer a takeaway service, this should be a great option for those who’d prefer to stay at home but still want to enjoy a special meal. We completely understand that the safety of our guests and staff comes first.”
