Food review: Takeaway a slice of heaven from Radhuni

Although we can’t quite get back into restaurants at the moment due to Covid restrictions, you can still enjoy a taste sensation delivered to your door.

The delicious Chicken Pathia and pilau rice from Radhuni.

On Wednesday, my wife and I enjoyed a tasty treat from award-winning Loanhead restaurant Radhuni, the perfect accompaniment to watching a Scotland football win on the telly!

We had the delicious Haggis Pakoras for starters, the Indian/ Scottish fusion leaving a real kick ahead of the World Cup qualifier.

For the main my Chicken Pathia was so incredibly tender and tasty that I forgot for a moment this was a delivery, and was taken back to a time when we could enjoy trips to our favourite local eateries.

Beers, curry and football, the perfect Wednesday night!

My wife enjoyed the “succulent” and “perfectly spiced” Kathmandu Murgh for her main.

The pilau rice, Kingfisher beers, lamb chops, garlic naan and Saag Aloo were equally enjoyed, as part of our treat to ourselves.

So while we can’t currently go out to our favourite local restaurants, we can still enjoy the best Midlothian has to offer, delivered straight to our door.
