Mimi's Bakehouse have announced that due to growing demand and business success, their baking operation will move from an in-store bakery at their Leith premises to an larger external bakery.

In an announcement on their Instagram account, they announced that the new, bigger bakery would be in Leith.

The business posted: "For a small family-run business this is such a huge and exciting step in our journey.

"A bigger bakery means endless cake possibilities and we hope all of you are just as excited as we are."

Mimi's Bakehouse first opened in 2010 and Mimi’s daughter, Gemma, is now a fourth generation baker in the family business. Earlier this year, the shop at The Shore played a role in upcoming Vanessa Hudgens film, The Princess Switch 2: Switched Again.
