Award-winning independent Edinburgh restaurant The Little Chartoom is set to open a new pop-up on Portobello’s Promenade.

While the small Leith Walk restaurant remains closed for now, husband and wife team Roberta Hall-McCarron and Shaun McCarron have planned to bring a bit of the restaurant to Portobello.

Those enjoying a day at the beach will be able to enjoy The Little Chartroom’s take on BBQ takeaway.

The pop-up, named The Little Chartroom on the Prom, will be located in front of the arcade.

Currently, the team have not confirmed an opening date but foodies are advised to follow them on social media, including their new Instagram @tlc_ontheprom for updates.
