Contemporary Chinese restaurant Tattu will reopen its doors to the public in Edinburgh on Thursday 23 July with a selection of new dishes.

New additions to the restaurant’s à la carte menu include a Surf and Turf Shumai with beef short rib and sticky red prawn (£10), Kung Po King Prawn with chilli, garlic and onion (£20) and a Banana Fritter dessert with caramel and shortbread (£8).

Launching on Monday 27 July, Tattu will also be catering for those at home with ‘Tattu to You’ - a new delivery and click and collect service designed to bring the Tattu experience to your door with an exclusive selection of the restaurant's most loved dishes and cocktails, including the popular Skull Candy.

Orders can be placed online, and diners can select an option of contact-free delivery with Deliveroo or click and collect from their nearest Tattu restaurant.

Tattu to You will also feature a scannable QR code that allows diners to link to an exclusive playlist of Tattu’s resident DJ mixes to recreate the ambience of the restaurants at home.

Opening times

From Thursday 23 July, Tattu Edinburgh will initially be open Monday - Thursday from 5pm – 10.30pm, Friday and Saturday from 12pm - 10.30pm and Sunday from 12pm – 10pm.

Bookings can be made online and will be limited to parties of up to six, which is in line with current government guidelines.

Advanced booking is required and guests will be asked to supply details to secure the booking, no prepayment will be taken.

From Monday 3 August until Monday 31 August, Tattu will also be participating in the government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme all day Monday - Wednesday each week.

Diners can enjoy 50 per cent off food and non-alcoholic drinks up to a maximum discount of £10 per person for those dining in any of Tattu’s four restaurants in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and Edinburgh. The discount cannot be applied to ’Tattu to You’ click and collect and delivery services.

To prepare for reopening, Tattu has developed a covid-19 guide designed to deliver a safe experience for guests choosing to dine at any of Tattu’s restaurants.

It is available to view online to provide peace of mind to customers ahead of their visit.
