This week’s featured cat is the aptly-named Hobo, came to the Lothian Cat Rescue shelter after being found wandering as a stray for a long time.
When he was finally captured and brought to the shelter, five-year-old Hobo’s ginger and white coat was in need of ‘a wash and brush-up’.
He is now looking for a kind, patient owner to help build up his trust, and would preferably need a home without children under 12, and with a garden which he can call his own.
Hobo – who has different coloured eyes – is now looking much smarter and would love to find a “purrfect” home of his own.
Could that be with you? If you think Hobo could become your ideal feline friend, contact Lothian Cat Rescue – details below.
Of course, Hobo is just one of the many cats currently being cared for by Lothian Cat Rescue – and each one would love to find a loving home.
Why not visit their website – www.lothiancatrescue.org – and click on the ‘Cats Needing Homes’ section to see some of the others.
The website also explains all about the charity’s history and work and gives details of how you can support them through fundraising events and sponsorship.
Lothian Cat Rescue also has a Facebook page where you can keep up to date with activities and see some of the cats needing rehomed – just search for Lothian Cat Rescue.
LCR’s most recent fundraiser was their open day on Sunday, which attracted a superb turnout and raised a grand total of £1,525 to help look after the cats and kittens throughout the year.
They would like to thank everyone who came along and supported their work. Their next open day will take place on Sunday, July 29.
