Visitors to The Store, at the heart of Dalkeith Country, will find celebrity favourite Primrose Park - popular with Amanda Holden and Kate Garraway - among the hottest new brands.

POM Amsterdam’s ready-to-wear collection returns for a second season with more quirky-yet-pretty prints that can be teamed with a tailored collar and cuff trim blazer for a standout look.

Vilagallo brings a vibrant Spanish vibe, with a sunset pink shirt dress and sun-baked pastel stripe shirt among this year’s must-haves. Blown-out florals adorn cute tops, dresses and skirts in the Bl^nk collection, while Danish brand Part Two offers polka dot prints on wide-legged trousers, a handkerchief hem skirt and dresses in spicy yellows.

The offering from M.A.B.E features embroidered tops, cute unstructured jackets, floor-sweeping peasant dresses and cheesecloth tunics with frilled shouldering - perfect for the barefoot summer look.

Sisi Gibreel, head of retail at Restoration Yard, said: “We adored the nod to the bohemian 1970s – especially to the great British designer Ossie Clark in his David Hockney heyday. The palette of pink, indigo and spicy yellows of mustard and turmeric is like looking at old Kodak photos of that decade.”

Store manager Louise Aylesbury added: “We’ve rejigged the store so it’s easier to shop and see all the new Spring 2020 collections. So far our customers have been really excited about all the new colour and textures for the season and everyone’s been adoring our new labels too. Primrose Park especially has been creating a buzz.”

Alongside the new collections, sale picks can still be found, offering up to 60 per cent off across womenswear, menswear and selected homeware.
