Ad plan for Sick Kids

HEALTH bosses say that they will begin advertising for construction partners to work on the new Sick Kids Hospital early next year.

NHS Lothian chief executive James Barbour said at the health board’s annual review that the organisation was “absolutely committed” to the project.

The new hospital is running at least four years behind schedule.

Mr Barbour said: “We are working to make sure the funding for this is all secured.”
