A PROJECT providing activities for young people in Gorebridge has launched a fundraising appeal.
Gorebridge Opportunities Ltd, also known as GO, has been operating on reserves for the past few months and is now on a quest for money to help running costs.
Based in The Brown Building, GO was set up in 2003 in response to a survey of young people in the area. Ninety-six per cent said there was not enough for teenagers to do.
Last year, proposals to merge GO with Gorebridge Community Development Trust were dropped at the 11th hour.
Gorebridge Parish Church youth minister Ross Watters and his wife, Fi, decided to retain GO as a separate charity, delivering services for young people.
