An invitation to ‘do lunch’ in Rosewell

Rosewell Big Lunch
Rosewell Big Lunch

Residents in Rosewell are in for a cornucopia of delights this summer courtesy of local residents and members of the Development Trust.

Before the fun begins, however, there will be a Keep Rosewell Beautiful litter pick on Saturday, May 16.

Volunteers should be ready for 10am at 85 Carnethie Street, with refreshments available at 11am. Children and pets are welcome but must be supervised.

Then at St Mathhew’s Church Hall on Friday, May 22, young people and adults will be given the unique opportunity to enjoy hula hooping with the Hula Honeys group between 7-8pm. Tickets, which are limited, are available from the resource centre at 85 Carnethie Street.

The sessions promise to be fun and should provide a lot of laughter no matter what your age.

The big event of the year takes place on Saturday, June 6 when the Community Tea Party and Big Lunch comes to Rosewell Resource Centre and Magic Garden.
