Appeal after housebreaking in Penicuik

Police are appealing for witnesses following a break-in and theft at a house in Penicuik.

The incident happened between 12pm and 7pm on Thursday, November 12, at an address on Mauricewood Bank.

Officers are conducting local enquiries to trace those responsible and anyone who can assist with this investigation is asked to come forward.

Sergeant Michele Lindsay said “Theft by housebreaking is a crime that significantly impacts on people’s lives and I would urge anyone who saw any suspicious activity or has any information in relation to the break-in to please contact police immediately.”
