A MIDLOTHIAN building has been nominated for a national architecture award.
The visitor centre at Rosslyn Chapel is one of 25 properties shortlisted by the Royal Incorporation of Architects Scotland (RIAS) for its 2013 competition.
It was selected from 75 nominees and is one of four buildings in the Lothians – and the only one in Midlothian – to gain final recognition.
RIAS said it had been “sensitively restored with meticulous care”, stating that the visitor centre “enhances the welcome”.
