FINLAY Kinnaird showed an early interest in the political process as polls opened in today’s city council by-election.

Polls opened at 7am and close at 10pm tonight. The results are due early tomorrow afternoon.

The City Centre ward seat became vacant following Councillor David Beckett’s decision to leave to study at Harvard University.
