Artist carves up Holyrood

SCULPTURES by George Wyllie, one of Scotland’s most celebrated and unusual artists, have gone on display at the Scottish Parliament.

Wyllie, who died earlier this year, was revered for provoking thought and discussion rather than providing answers.

Six pieces of his work, including Cradle, Contemplace, Eco-bucket and Studio, will be on display in the parliament’s garden until October.
