Bank Street incident: Man treated for 'serious injuries' after falling from window from building on Edinburgh street
The incident happened early on Friday morning after police in the area received a report that a 21-year-old man had fallen from a window in Bank Street, Edinburgh at around 6.55am.
The man has been taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
He is being treated for serious injuries, however, they are not thought to be life-threatening, according to Police Scotland

Hide AdEnquiries are ongoing into how the incident occurred but it is not thought to be suspicious.
Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6.55am on Friday, 4 June, we received a report that a 21-year-old man had fallen from a window in Bank Street, Edinburgh.
"The man has been taken to The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with serious injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.
"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances."

Hide AdThe news comes as Bank Street was closed in both directions following the incident this morning.
No through traffic went between George IV Bridge and the Mound as a result.
However, Lothian has now confirmed that their services running through Hanover Street, The Mound and George IV Bridge were back up and running in these areas late this morning.
No other bus services were impacted as a result of the street closure and it is understood that Bank Street is open again following the incident.
