Skateboard enthusiasts, together with BMX bikers, have endorsed Bonnyrigg’s new skatepark by voting with their wheels.
Local lad Zak Stewart (16), who has been taking full advantage of the £165,000 facility at King George V Park, believes it is “the best thing that’s happened for young people in Bonnyrigg.”
Councillor Derek Rosie (SNP) recently celebrated the facility with Zak and representatives from funding bodies sportscotland, WREN and the Gourlaw Shewington Fund.
