TEENAGERS have been given the chance to learn important life skills at a Midlothian boot camp.
Lothian and Borders Police supported an army-led programme aimed at refocusing the lives of 22 boys from the Lothians, Borders and Edinburgh.
The five-day residential course took place last week at Castlelaw near Penicuik.
The participants, aged between 14 and 16, were nominated by their local police officer after demonstrating a willingness to take on the army-devised experience.
