Boyzone move to a different beat

Boyzone at 20: No Matter What (Friday, December 13, ITV, 9pm)

What’s It All About? Brace yourselves folks, you might want to sit down for this - 1990s pop phenomenon Boyzone are celebrating their 20th anniversary. Yep, 20 years! That’s longer than most marriages last these days, so they’re definitely deserving of a congratulatory shindig.

It comes courtesy of ITV, and features Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch and Mikey Graham performing their biggest and much-loved hits, including Love Me for a Reason and Picture of You, as well as sharing intimate insights with presenter Dannii Minogue.

In this insightful one-off programme, the band talk candidly about their feelings toward former manager Louis Walsh, and their career, including the inter-band tensions which saw them split at the height of their fame.

Dannii doesn’t miss the opportunity to raise a few smiles. She digs out old photographs of the band with outfits and hairstyles they’d probably rather forget. The band are joined on stage by Melanie C to perform No Matter What.

Look Out For: Some very touching moments in which the band pay tribute to the late Stephen Gately.
