Bright future for Midlothian care firm

Homecare provider Bright Care has committed to a six-figure investment in order to provide a platform for rapid growth.

The Sheriffhall-based company anticipates that the injection will create more efficient and streamlined processes, using bespoke software designed by the company, to future-proof its long-term expansion plans.

It is investing an initial £30,000 in the new systems, backed by a grant of £9,000 from the Scottish Enterprise Growth Fund, and will fund ongoing investment totalling £120,000 over the next five years.

Entrepreneur Tim Cocking, who runs Bright Care, said: “This new system, which has been put in place by Lyle Sutherland Ltd from Edinburgh, will be the glue which holds our entire administrative process together.”
