A Penicuik charity, which faced closure due to council funding cuts, has thanked the community for its support after receiving a cash lifeline.
Penicuik YMCA/YWCA was one of a number of organisations which had its financial support slashed by cash-strapped Midlothian Council.
The Y embarked on a campaign, “Y we need the Y”, to raise awareness of its plight.
