Charity event goes out in a blaze of glory
Jo Steventon tried out a fire engine for size as the Ladies Driving Challenge took to the road for the last time after ten years of raising funds for charity.
The annual adventurous event added to its previous total of £140,000 raised for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland at the Royal Highland Showground on Sunday.
Andrea McIntyre, of the charity, said: “The LDC is a really fabulous event largely due to the ‘up for a challenge’ attitude that the ladies bring along.”
